Düsseldorf Alt

A dark, top fermented German beer from the Düsseldorf area with a very high bitterness level. 'Alt' in German means 'old' and denotes that the beer is brewed in the old method of top fermentation.

Traditional IPA

A traditional India Pale Ale in the style of those sent to India in the 19th Century. Brews 40 pints. A high alcohol content and a very high hop rate were needed to preserve the beer on its long sea journey. The beer would normally be diluted to a more 'quaffable' strength before drinking.

Bavarian Weissbier
